For Real Beauty say “Open Sesame”

Have you ever felt that beauty is an unattainable goal? We nip, tuck, and peel away at our skin, hoping to pacify a nagging dissatisfaction about ourselves. Whether we choose vitamin peels or laser surgery, the clock continues to tick and the aging process marches on.

On the surface, it appears that beauty is a complicated process. I think this may be because we tend to limit our definition of beauty to our appearance, rather than its lost meaning of grace and quality.

So how can we obtain real beauty? It’s simple. Redefine what beauty means in our unique lives and focus on nurturing our bodies at every stage of life. Beauty isn’t skin deep; however, the body’s largest organ is the skin. A person, whose skin is nourished, will radiate a quality of beauty that is noticed. It reflects the state of our health, both inside and out.

The ancient people in the Far East discovered simple secrets for purifying and protecting their skin. One remedy is the incredible nutritional power of sesame oil. The sesame plant is a shrub grown in China, India, South America, and Africa. For over 4000 years, this oil has been extracted from tiny black seeds. It is a complete antioxidant system that is rich in vitamins A, B, and E, as well as silicic acid, lecithin and linoleic acid. The refined oil, not to be confused with the cooking oil, is readily absorbed by the skin to nourish and moisturize. In India, sesame oil is used for massage to facilitate the skin’s release of toxins and maintain long term skin health.

While traveling in the Far East, adventurer Jodi Hutchinson met tribal people there who used only sesame oil to cleanse and balance their skin. Jodi was impressed with their skin’s soft, supple condition that had the elasticity and tone of a much younger person. After returning to the U.S.A., an unforeseen business opportunity led Jodi to establish Darshän LLC, a fair trade policy company bringing to us exotic, handcrafted skin care from the Far East. Each unique lotion and crème starts with a first press organic sesame oil base that is then saturated with healing herbs for a completely balanced skin care regimen. To become real beauty, now we can say “Open Sesame!”

Helen Heinmiller, author of the novel, The Rustling of Angels, is from Downingtown, PA. After taking on a copy writing assignment with founder Jodi Hutchinson of Darshän, she was impressed with the products amazing results on her skin. She now serves as Ambassador for Darshän, promoting the products and company philosophy.
