Yes, it’s true that’s the kind of comments made by people who taste Sweet Christine’s products.  Those suffering from celiac disease and gluten intolerance have been waiting for good tasting treats and they’re here.

Sweet Christine’s is happy to announce that renovations on a new retail store have begun and they are hoping to be open in July with a Grand Opening in the fall. They are a wholesale business but will have their doors open to the public so they can purchase whatever’s baking that day. They hope to be able to offer bread and grab-and-go items by Christmas. This is great news for all who have sampled and are now committed to great tasting gluten free all natural delights. There is more….she hopes to be able to open the doors for group meetings for kids and their parents. At Sweet Christine’s we want the child who has been labeled as a Celiac to feel normal again. We want children with gluten intolerance to be able to eat the same foods as their friends, and not have to sacrifice taste.

The gluten free products of Sweet Christine’s have been readily available at local retailers in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Now you can also find Sweet Christine’s in Ohio, Maryland and Florida. University of Delaware students are now able to purchase Sweet Christine’s treats on campus. Whole Foods in Devon on the Main Line, not only carry the products, but they are taking special orders for gluten free cakes. So, kids with celiac can have a real birthday cake too!  Also, look for Sweet Christine’s treats at the Delaware beaches.

Among those who must eliminate gluten from their diet are people who have celiac disease and those whose digestive systems cannot tolerate gluten. A celiac patient- 1 in 133 Americans cannot eat anything containing gluten. This includes wheat, oats, rye and barley and most breads, bagels, pizza and pasta. Eating delicious freshly baked cookies seems almost out of the question. But Sweet Christine’s has found the right recipe. Not only are they gluten free, they are organic and have nothing artificial in them and definitely no preservatives. Her gluten free recipes include chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin and sugar cookies, brownies, pizzelles and biscotti and a casein free/gluten free chocolate chip cookie. But wait, there’s more! She is now offering cupcakes, and you can find her amazing Lava Cake Dessert at Soffrio Italian Grill located on Kirkwood Highway in Newark.

Besides the many positive testimonials and praises from a certified baker, Sweet Christine’s was named in the Gluten Free Living Fall Issue 2007 Magazine as one of “Our picks for great products of the year”.

If you have tasted the rest, now try the best.  These gluten free delights are truly delicious.
