A Great Photo Portrait: What You Need to Know
When a potential client wants to know about you, they go to your Web site and check out your photo and your bio. How you look in that photo makes the first impression, and it’s crucial to have a high quality portrait set the tone for you.
Our photographic portraits stand out because:
- We teach you how to be camera ready, whether it is in a studio or walking into a room with news cameras focused on you.
- We coach you in how to present yourself in a photo so people think they know you and want to do business with you.
- We use a professional set-up and flattering portrait lighting that works best for your presentation and image.
- You don’t really know what you look like to others. We assess how to look your best: if your right side is more flattering than your left, if you should smile with or without your teeth showing, etc.
- We style your hair, clothes, and apply make-up. Out of this experience, you will have a new confidence in how you look and how you are perceived.
- We can enhance the portrait with Photo Shop when appropriate, to make you look younger or soften certain facial features.

Your result will not just be another photograph or a snapshot or a head shot. This is a true portrait, like a traditional painted portrait, where the setting, the styling and your look all work together to show you looking your best.
